Take Your Dog To Work Day

Here at Digital Operative we love our furry friends, so naturally when Take Your Dog To Work Day came around this year we turned it into a week long celebration.

As much as we’d love to take credit for giving ourselves yet another reason to bring our pets to work, take your dog to work day has been a legitimate holiday since 1999. Pet Sitters International created the day to celebrate the companionship our dogs provide as well as create awareness about adoption and rescue services.

If your company is participating as well, don’t forget to enter into the take your dog to work day photo challenge and use their official hashtag, #takeyourdog, while you’re blowing up social media with cute puppy pictures and posts.

Of course it doesn’t have to be the official dog day to support this great organization. Follow them year round on Facebook and Twitter and check-out ways to get involved and show your puppy love.
