Go Skateboarding Day

At Digital Operative we always support creativity and individuality. That’s why it should come as no surprise that we’re gearing up to celebrate Go Skateboarding Day on June 21st.

The International Association of Skateboard Companies originally created the holiday to promote the sport in a time where “No Skateboarding” signs were popping up across the nation. It’s rumored that the idea was based off the actions of local skateboarders changing the signs to read “Go Skateboarding.”

Be sure to get outside and get active this weekend and hop on a board if you have one. You don’t have to be a skateboarder to enjoy exhilaration and spirit that make the sport great.
